I can't cook.. but my boyfriend can!

Fascinated by food, art and metaphors for life. Self-acclaimed food snobs, just chronicling our food adventures (he cooks, I snap).
Elaborate homecooked meals have not been a “thing” with us lately, what with trying to buy a house and eat everything that is in our current house, rather than grocery shop.
But tonight, we dined.  On sweet, oozing meat relished with the most classic of fixins’ - LTO: lettuce, tomato and onion.  Don’t forget the sharp cheddar, mayo and original mustard.  Sorry, ketchup, I don’t really like you very much.
In other words.. YUM.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  I’m back, and with tonight’s dinner no less, cooked by my fantastic chef of a boyfriend.  I am not capable of this (pictured above):
Crown Pork Roast with mushrooms sauteed in cream sauce, asparagus baked in olive oil, salt and pepper, and white rice (and more mushrooms).  The usual garnish on top, this time it’s parsley.
It’s a new year and a new beginning for Grublovin’ so sit back, relax and drool… :D

I’ll eat anything green as long as it’s made by Eddie.  His secret?  Salt, pepper and lemon.  The trio can be used on so many things!
